Kamimura, Tomohiro
Mr. Tomohiro Kamimura serves as Research Associate for Clinical Insight since June 2013, being dispatched from Kowa Company, Ltd. He started his career in Kowa Company as a member of Medical Affaires Dept. in April 2001. He was engaged in supporting their Medical Representatives in terms of academic expertise relating their pharmaceutical products and its therapeutic areas. After he transferred to Product Strategy Dept. in April 2004 until he joined CICS, he had been engaged in planning activities to maximize the values of their R&D pipeline products. Those included setting target product profiles (TPP) of them based on unmet medical needs, evaluating sales forecasts based on the TPPs and proposing their relevant sections to conduct R&D activities needed to realize the TPPs. Through those activities, he had gotten informed about relevant diseases, unmet medical needs and R&D of pharmaceutical drugs. The therapeutic areas he had been involved in include cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis, dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, kidney disease, glaucoma, dizziness and vertigo, inflammatory disease.
